MC Health Foods was incepted in 2021 when the Covid lockdown was in full swing in South Africa. The lack of availability of Gluten Free and various other health products during the lockdown for thousands of people around the country became a real problem. This is what led us to start a home based business sourcing Gluten Free products from suppliers around the world.

Naturally grown Gluten Free (& Health) products in general are scarce and very hard to find. Not to mention also extremely expensive, when purchasing from the various outlets around the country.
What we found while doing our research into Gluten Free product availability to the South African public, is that there is no "One business or company" (Health shop, warehouse suppliers, online store, etc.) that supply everything one needs in order to live a completely Gluten Free lifestyle. We also discovered that the cost of all the many products one needs, in-order to live a completely Gluten Free lifestyle was exceptionally higher that of someone who could eat regular bread, flour or processed foods, etc.

Thus... MC Health Foods was born.
